Background: Functional Ankle Instability (FAI) is a pervasive condition that can emerge following inadequate management of lateral ankle sprains. It is hallmarked by chronic joint instability and a subsequent deterioration in physical performance. The modulation of motor patterns through attentional focus is a well-established concept in the realm of motor learning and performance optimization.

However, precise AD therapy is unrealizable due to the lack of dual-targeting therapy function, poor BBB penetration, and low imaging sensitivity. Here, we design a near-infrared-II aggregation-induced emission (AIE) nanotheranostic for precise AD therapy.

Giant heterometallic polyoxometalate (POM) clusters with precise atom structures, flexibly adjustable and abundant active sites are promising for constructing functional nanodrugs. However, current POM drugs are almost vacant in orthotopic brain tumor therapy due to the inability to effectively penetrate the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and low drug activity. Here, we designed the largest (3.

Methods: Twenty-one New Zealand rabbits were randomly divided into normal, model, and acupotomy groups, with 7 rabbits in each group. The KOA rabbit model was established by using the Videman method.
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is the most common malignant brain tumor with low survival, primarily due to the blood-brain barrier (BBB) and high infiltration. Upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs)-based near-infrared (NIR) phototherapy with deep penetration is a promising therapy method against glioma but faces low photoenergy utilization that is induced by spectral mismatch and single-site Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET). Herein, we designed a brain-targeting NIR theranostic system with a dual-site FRET route and superior spectral matching to maximize energy utilization for synergistic photodynamic and photothermal therapy of glioma.

Methods: Thirty-six New Zealand white rabbits were randomly divided into a normal group, a model group, a needle-knife group and a sham needle-knife group, 9 rabbits in each group. The rabbits in the model group, the needle-knife group and the sham needle-knife group were treated with modified Videman method to prepare KOA model.
By applying the hydrophilic ionic liquid, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride ([Cmim]Cl), and inorganic salts (KPO), an ionic liquid aqueous two-phase system (ILATPS) was established for the separation of polysaccharides (DhPs) and proteins. The effects of inorganic salt concentration, IL quantity, crude DhPs concentration, pH value and temperature were studied to achieve the optimal condition. With the best combination of ILATPS (1.

Two new phases, namely, 2/ and , were predicted to be stable within the pressure ranges of 71-107 and 107-300 GPa, respectively. Like the known phase IV and V, the two new phases preserve alternate ammonium and chloride ions layer structures.

The structural properties of solid HCl have been investigated by Brillouin scattering in the pressure range of 0-20 GPa under high temperature, combined with external heating in a diamond anvil cell. Three elastic constants and two moduli of the single crystal sample were observed at high pressure-temperature and each of them grows monotonously with pressure along a separate isotherm.
