Background: Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) can study the susceptibility values of brain tissue which allows for noninvasive examination of local brain iron levels in both normal and pathological conditions.
Purpose: Our study compares brain iron deposition in gray matter (GM) nuclei between cerebral small vessel disease (CSVD) patients and healthy controls (HCs), exploring factors that affect iron deposition and cognitive function.
Materials And Methods: A total of 321 subjects were enrolled in this study.
Objective: Sleep disorders are common in Alzheimer's disease (AD) patients and can impair the glymphatic system, leading to cognitive decline. This study aimed to investigate whether AD patients with sleep disorders exhibit worse glymphatic function and more severe cognitive impairment compared to those without sleep disorders and to explore the underlying molecular imaging mechanisms.
Methods: This study included 40 AD patients with sleep disorders (ADSD), 39 cognitively matched AD patients without sleep disorders (ADNSD), and 25 healthy middle-aged and elderly controls (NC).

Study 1 investigated the effects of ego-depletion on displaced aggressive behavior in junior high school students using a within-subject design, comparing the differences in displaced aggressive behavior between the induced ego-depletion condition and the non-induced ego-depletion condition. Results showed that junior high school students exhibited significantly higher levels of displaced aggressive behavior under the induced ego-depletion condition compared to the non-induced ego-depletion condition.

Although network-level SC and FC are closely coupled in the healthy population, how SC-FC coupling correlates with neurocognitive outcomes in patients with different CSVD burdens remains largely unknown.
Methods: Using multimodal MRI, we reconstructed whole-brain SC and FC networks for 54 patients with severe CSVD burden (CSVD-s), 106 patients with mild CSVD burden (CSVD-m), and 79 healthy controls.
The electrocatalytic oxidation of organic molecules coupled with hydrogen evolution reaction can reduce overpotential and can be connected in series with nonelectrochemical processes to achieve the preparation of more high-value compounds. Herein, Cu- and Co-incorporated nickel hydroxide (CuCo-Ni(OH)) was synthesized and applied to the anodic benzylamine oxidation reaction, which is 280 mV lower than the corresponding oxygen evolution reaction to reach the current density of 50 mA cm. When the electrocatalytic oxidation of benzylamine and hydrogen evolution reaction are coupled to form an electrolytic cell, the potential to reach 10 mA cm is reduced by 197 mV compared to the overall water splitting.

In this study, using resting-state functional connectivity (FC) and graph theory computational approaches, we investigated the topological disruptions of brain functional networks in 28 DPN, 43 T2DM without DPN (NDPN), and 32 healthy controls (HCs) and examined the correlations between altered network topological metrics and cognitive/motor function parameters in T2DM. For global topology, NDPN exhibited a significantly decreased shortest path length compared with HCs, suggesting increased efficient global integration.
