Nanotechnology-based optical sensors for Baijiu quality and safety control.

Baijiu quality and safety have received considerable attention owing to the gradual increase in its consumption. However, owing to the unique and complex process of Baijiu production, issues leading to quality and safety concerns may occur during the manufacturing process. Therefore, establishing appropriate analytical methods is necessary for Baijiu quality assurance and process control.

A and B sites doped CaAlO: Phase component, energy band, color and photoluminescence tuning, color performance prediction and application for pigments.

The polyacrylamide gel method was used to fabricate the CaCoAlO, CaNiAlO, CaAlInO and CaAlWO (x = 0-0.5) pigments. The phase compositions, energy bands, color and photoluminescence properties of the pigments can be controlled by adjusting the type and content of doping ions.

Bio-butanol sorption performance on novel porous-carbon adsorbents from corncob prepared via hydrothermal carbonization and post-pyrolysis method.

A series of porous-carbon adsorbents termed as HDPC (hydrochar-derived pyrolysis char) were prepared from corncob and used for the 1-butanol recovery from aqueous solution. The influences of pyrolysis temperature on properties of the adsorbents were systematically investigated. The results showed that hydrophobicity, surface area, and pore volume of HDPC samples increased with an increase in pyrolysis temperature.
