Background: Endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) is a time-sensitive treatment for acute ischemic stroke with large vessel occlusion. To optimize transfer efficiency, a web-based platform was introduced in the Tainan Stroke Network (TSN). We assessed its application and effectiveness in regional stroke care.

Herein, we reported a peptide-based molecule rationally designed for the visual detection of copper ions (Cu) in multiple modes. The peptide exhibited excellent stability, high luminescence efficiency, and environmentally responsive molecular self-assembly in water.

To address these problems, we designed a peptide-based self-delivery system [Indomethacin-Phe-Phe-Tyr (HPO)-Ser-Val, IDM-FFpYSV] that combines an NSAID molecule (indomethacin, or IDM) and a segment of anticancer tripeptide (tyroservatide, or YSV). IDM-FFpYSV is capable of self-assembling in an aqueous solution to afford nanofibrillar hydrogels under the catalysis of alkaline phosphatases (ALPs), which are overexpressed on the plasma membrane of cancer cells.

To achieve controllable and gradual switching of multi-level conductance, important for neuromorphic computing, a theoretical design of a superlattice-like (SLL) structure switching layer for the multi-level memristor is proposed and validated, refining the growth of conductive filaments (CFs) and preventing CFs from the abrupt formation and rupture. Ti/(HfO /AlO ) /TiN memristors are shown with transmission electron microscopy , X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy , and ab initio calculation findings corroborate the SLL structure of HfO /AlO film.

Developments of sequencing technology result in constant expansion of the gap between the number of the known sequences and their functions. Therefore, it is indispensable to develop a computational method for the annotation of protein function.

Based on the fact that the majority of proteins exert their functions through interacting with each other, we propose a method to recognize target proteins by using the human protein-protein interaction network and graph theory. In the network, vertexes and edges are weighted by using the confidence scores of interactions and descriptors of protein primary structure, respectively.

Methods: One hundred ten patients of American Society of Anesthesiologists class 1 or 2 who underwent gynecological general anesthesia with a 1-3-hour operation time were randomly divided into the following groups: etomidate emulsion group 1 ([E1] n = 30); etomidate emulsion group 2 ([E2] n = 30); etomidate emulsion group 3 ([E3] n = 20); and propofol group ([P group] n = 30). For induction of anesthesia, 0.
