M-N-C catalysts with nitrogen-coordinated metal single-atom active sites have demonstrated high activity for hydrogen storage materials, but their stability in this application remains uncertain. This study addresses this issue by using nickel phthalocyanine (NiPc) molecules on MgH₂ particles as a model system. It is found that the N-coordinated high-valence Ni single atoms in the NiN₄ active site are unstable in the reducing environment of hydrogen storage, spontaneously evolving into zero-valence Ni, forming a Ni₁-Mg single-atom alloy (SAA).
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground: Vascular invasion is a major risk factor for poor prognosis of liver transplantation (LT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and this study aimed to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of deceased donor LT (DDLT) for the treatment of microvascular invasion (MVI) and segmental portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT).
Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 141 patients who received DDLT for HCC combined with vascular invasion from January 2016 to December 2023 at Shulan (Hangzhou) Hospital. To assess the risk of vascular invasion associated with the LT prognosis, we evaluated various clinicopathologic variables.
Background: The objectives of this study were to assess the safety and efficacy of drug-eluting bead transarterial chemoembolization (DEB-TACE) as neoadjuvant therapy before liver transplantation (LT) for advanced-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and to analyze the prognostic factors.
Aim: To determine whether DEB-TACE before LT is superior to LT for advanced-stage HCC.
Methods: A total of 99 individuals diagnosed with advanced HCC were studied retrospectively.
Objective: To analyze the risk factors of new adjacent vertebral fractures (AVF) and remote vertebral fractures (RVF) after percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) for osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures (OVCFs).
Methods: Patients who underwent additional PVP for new OVCFs were enrolled. In addition, we set a 1:1 age-, sex-, surgical segment-, and surgical date-matched control group, in which patients underwent PVP without new OVCFs.

Background: Anastomosing hemangioma is an uncommon benign vascular tumor that may be mistaken for a malignancy. The imaging findings of anastomosing hemangioma are not well provided from the previous reports. Herein, in the study, we discuss the imaging findings for one case of retroperitoneal anastomosing hemangioma.
