The Flow Through Sampler (FTS) serves as an efficient wind-powered active sampling device, enabling the collection of a significant air volume within a short duration. Throughout the actual sampling process, the sampling rate of FTS experiences continuous fluctuations, highlighting the need for in-depth investigation into its impact on breakthrough. In this study, we interconnected the FTS sampling column with three distinct pumps, operating at five varied sampling rates under 293 K and 303 K; and breakthrough profiles of PCBs, PAHs and OCPs on the FTS sampling column were investigated to understand the impacts of sampling rate, expressed as linear wind velocity through the cross section of FTS tube (u) on the sampling efficiency of the sampling column.

Effective monitoring of atmospheric concentrations is vital for assessing the Stockholm Convention's effectiveness on persistent organic pollutants (POPs). This task, particularly challenging in polar regions due to low air concentrations and temperature fluctuations, requires robust sampling techniques. Furthermore, the influence of temperature on the sampling efficiency of polyurethane foam discs remains unclear.

Water-soluble ions and some trace gases during the Spring Festival in Ningbo were observed using an ion online gas composition and aerosol monitoring system. Combined with meteorological elements data, the source analysis and composition characteristics of water-soluble ions and trace gases were analyzed. The average concentration of (PM) during the observation period was 33.

A practical method of four-step synthesis towards novel ()-5-(methoxyimino)-3,5-dihydrobenzo[][1,2]oxazepin-4(1)-one antifungals is presented, where a commercially available pesticide and pharmacology intermediate, ()-methyl 2-(2-(bromomethyl)phenyl)-2-(methoxyimino)acetate (), was used as starting material. These compounds were confirmed by H NMR, C NMR, high-resolution mass spectroscopy and X-ray crystal structure. fungicidal evaluation, the moderate to high activities of several compounds against eight phytopathogenic fungi were demonstrated.

Since the 1990s, most developed countries have issued the risk-based environmental standards or criteria for soil, as well as corresponding technical background documents, this provides methodological references for developing soil environmental standards and criteria in developing countries. However, because of the variability in legislation frameworks, derivation procedures of criteria, environmental conditions and climates, soil types, and habits and customs among countries, there are great differences in the names, roles and values of soil standards and criteria. This paper presents the scientific basis and fundamental features of soil environmental criteria.
