[Association between depression and glycemic control disorder in patients with diabetes mellitus 2].

Background: Depression is associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2), physically affecting the general condition of the patient. It also has repercussions with a poor glycemic control, as found when nutrition is not adequate and there is little adherence to the therapeutic plan. Our objective was to identify the association between depression disorders (DD) in patients with DM2 and their glycemic control.
