Purpose: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) education continues to progress with contemporary content and innovative teaching methods. The purpose of this study was to examine clinical assessment data from the Physical Therapist Clinical Performance Instrument (PT-CPI) focused on professionalism and safety in an initial clinical experience between an accelerated-hybrid and traditional DPT program.
Methods: A retrospective analysis was performed on mid-term and final Safety, Professional Behavior, and Communication PT-CPI scores of each program's first clinical experience.

Background And Objective: Cenobamate is an antiseizure medication (ASM) approved for treatment of focal epilepsy in adults. The objective of this study was to characterize the distribution, metabolism, and excretion of cenobamate in adult and pre- and postnatal rats, including pregnant and lactating females and nursing pups.
Methods: Distribution, metabolic, and excretion profiles were determined for C-labeled and unlabeled cenobamate using liquid scintillation counting, radiochromatography, LCMS, and LCMS/MS after oral or intravenous (IV) administration.

Mycotic aneurysms are exceedingly rare in the pediatric population. The optimal surgical treatment for children with this disease is unclear as aneurysm resection and vascular reconstruction are uncommonly performed in young children. We present the case of an elderly male who was initially seen in our hospital for a urinary tract infection that was treated with oral ciprofloxacin. He was admitted 2 weeks later with altered mental status and fever, and was found to have bacteraemia with Aerococcus urinae Owing to altered mental status a brain MRI was performed which showed evidence of embolic stroke. We present the case of a 36-year-old woman who presented to our hospital with epigastric abdominal pain and tenderness. Laboratory evaluation identified high lipase, normal amylase, pseudohyponatremia, and relatively falsely low triglyceride levels (initial value of 2,329 mg/dl which on repeat was found to have corrected value of >10,000 mg/dl). The overall clinical picture was consistent with acute pancreatitis due to hypertriglyceridemia.
