Experimental studies of chronic noise exposure in modern urban life testified about oxidative stress due to the corresponding hormones effects leading to accumulation of reactive oxygen species and endothelial dysfunction. This study aims to evaluate the protective effect of α2-adrenoblockers to modulate oxidative stress and corticosterone levels due to chronic noise exposure. To achieve this, we examined the effects of beditin (2-aminothiozolyl-1,4-benzodioxane) and mesedin (2-(2-methyl-amino-thiozolyl)-1,4-benzodioxane hydrochloride), along with changes in corticosterone, Ca2 + content, and morphological alterations in various tissues under noise-induced stress.

Poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibition may synergize with TOP1i and SG, but previous studies combining systemic PARP and TOP1 inhibitors failed due to dose-limiting myelosuppression. Here, we assess the proof-of-mechanism and clinical feasibility for SG and talazoparib (TZP) employing an innovative sequential dosing schedule.

The goal of the given investigation is (1) the isolation and purification of the isoforms of endogenous О-producing associate from gastrointestinal bacteria (); (2) determination of the effective concentrations of exogenous О produced by a complex of NADPH-containing protein component and Fe(III) (NPC-Fe(III)) from raspberries on the growth of the gastrointestinal bacteria in a nutrient medium . Ion-exchange chromatography on cellulose DE-52 and gel filtration on Sephadex G-100 at the pH of 9.

The purposes of this study were (1) to study some physiological and biochemical mechanisms of α-adrenoblockers, which ensure the tissue resistance increase to hypoxia; (2) to offer new drugs contributing to the increase of tissues' stability towards the hypoxic affection; and (3) to submit new medications to surpass by their anti-hypoxic activity of those already used in modern medicine and have some advantages. The reactivity of postsynaptic vascular α-adrenoceptors was determined on the damaged spinal cord expressed by the blood pressure increase in response to intravenous administration of azepexole that selectively binds to α-adrenoceptors.

However, it is challenging to capture the dynamic changes in cognitive and functional abilities over time, resulting in limited predictive performance. Our study aimed to investigate whether incorporating longitudinal multimodal data with advanced analytical methods could improve the capability to predict the risk of progressing to AD.

Noise stress causes dysfunction and neurotransmission impairment in the central nervous system, as well as changes in hormone levels. In this study, we have examined the level of α-Tocopherol (α-T) and malondialdehyde (MDA) in plasma and the erythrocytes' membrane (EM), as well as the behavioral characteristics of a noise-induced stress model in rats.

There is currently no cure, and therefore disease-slowing remedies are sought to alleviate symptoms of the multifaceted disorder. Encouraging findings in Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease on alpha-2 adrenoceptor (α2-AR) inhibition have shown neuroprotective and aggregation-reducing effects in cell and animal models.

Aims: The goal of this study is to investigate the relationship between chronic noise exposure and the effects of adrenergic alpha-2 receptor antagonists, beditin and mesedin, on the anxiety and oxidation of plasma proteins and fibrinogen in rats.
Noise is considered one of the environmental hazards that negatively affect health. It can cause damage to the auditory, neurological, hormonal and cardiovascular systems, in addition to impairing psychological and cognitive functions. Considering the significance of vascular disturbances and oxidative stress in the development of the aforementioned negative effects, the purpose of our investigation was to study the level of high density lipoprotein-cholesterol (HDL-Cl), low density lipoprotein-cholesterol (LDL-Cl), and total cholesterol (TCl) in plasma, in addition to the behavioral characteristics of white rats, and the effects of the α-adrenoblockers beditin and mesedin to reveal their antiatherogenic effect during noise exposure.

Besides a variety of reports showing the involvement of norepinephrine and its receptor systems in cognition, amyloid β (Aβ) metabolism, neuroinflammation, and neurogenesis, little is known about the contribution of the specific receptors to these actions. Here, we investigated the neurogenic and neuroprotective properties of a new α2 adrenoblocker, mesedin, in astroglial primary cultures (APC) from C57BL/6 and 3×Tg-AD mice.

Aim: To investigate the free radical oxidation of lipids, oxidative modification of protein activity of glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase as well as the end product of nitric oxide - nitrite in the brain mitochondrial fraction of animals with experimentally induced cerebral edema and in treatment with taurine.
Material And Methods: Toxic brain edema was induced in rats with intraperitoneal injection of tetra-ethyl lead (10 mg per kg of animal weight). The intensity of peroxidation was evaluated by hydroperoxide and malonic aldehyde contents.
