Assesment of Risk Factors for Tardive Dyskinesia.

Objective: Aim of the study is to evaluate sociodemographic and clinical features that may be associated with the development of Tardive dyskinesia (TD).

Methods: 80 patients attending an outpatient psychiatry clinic in Istanbul, Turkey were divided into TD (n = 50) and control groups (CG) (n = 30). Sociodemographic and clinical data was collected through face-to-face interviews and a retrospective search of medical records.

Entecavir treatment may be associated with decreased libido in male patients with chronic hepatitis B: report of two cases.

Various types of drugs are being used to treat patients with chronic hepatitis B infection. However, these treatment modalities are not without side effects, which may result in decreased patient adherence. Entecavir is an oral reverse transcriptase inhibitor, which is widely used in patients with hepatitis B.

Dissociative symptoms and dissociative disorder comorbidity in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder.

The present study attempted to assess the dissociative symptoms and overall dissociative disorder comorbidity in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). In addition, we examined the relationship between the severity of obsessive-compulsive symptoms and dissociative symptoms. All patients admitted for the first time to the psychiatric outpatient unit were included in the study.
