Reports of levamisole-induced vasculopathy (LIV) secondary to use of levamisole-contaminated cocaine largely have been limited to the skin. We report the case of a 35-year-old woman with painful purpuric lesions affecting the cheeks, nose, ears, arms, and legs of several days' duration. She recently had used crack cocaine.

Clinically indistinguishable from generalized essential telangiectasia, this condition is diagnosed by its unique histological appearance. In contrast to other primary telangiectatic processes, cutaneous collagenous vasculopathy has dilated vascular structures that contain deposits of eosinophilic hyaline material within the vessel walls.

Background: Practice varies with respect to biologic therapy counseling and monitoring of biologic therapy. Because of the complexity, many physicians shy away from prescribing biologic therapy.
Objective: To create checklists and discuss considerations behind various counseling and monitoring issues.
