Panda polarization-maintaining few-mode optical fiber (PPMFMOF) has important research significance in the short distance optical transmission field owing to its advantages of weak nonlinear effects, which is benefit to reduce the use of digital signal processing equipment. Designing a high-performance PPMFMOF quickly and efficiently is expected and yet challenging. In this article, we demonstrated a forward design method for the design of PPMFMOF based on artificial neural network (ANN) to solve the problems of inefficient and time-consuming PPMFMOF design in traditional design method.

Background: The implementation of evidence-based approaches by general practitioners (GPs) is new in the primary care setting, and few quantitative studies have evaluated the impact of contextual factors on the attendance of these approaches.

Methods: In total, 892 GPs from 75 community healthcare centers (CHCs) in Shanghai completed our survey. We used logistic regression to analyze factors affecting the number of evidence-based chronic disease programs attended by GPs and whether they had held the lead position in such a program.

Background: Primary vaginal cancer (PVC) is a rare gynecological malignant tumor and we know little about its survival and prognostic factors. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the potential survival and prognostic factors in women with PVC.

Methods: We used data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) program to identify 1,781 women who had been diagnosed with PVC between 2004 and 2014.

Nine metal compounds of Mn(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) derived from dinitropyridone ligands (3,5-dinitro-pyrid-2-one, 2HDNP; 3,5-dinitropyrid-4-one, 4HDNP and 3,5-dinitropyrid-4-one-N- hydroxide, 4HDNPO) were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR and partly by TG-DSC. Three of which were further structurally characterized by X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. The structures of the three compounds, Mn(4DNP)(2)(H(2)O)(4), 4, Zn(4DNPO)(2)(H(2)O)(4), 8, and Cd(4DNPO)(2)(H(2)O)(4), 9, crystallize in the monoclinic space group P2(1)/n and Z = 2, with a = 8.

Two transition-metal compounds derived from 2,4-dinitroimidazole, {[Ni(DNI)(2)(H(2)O)(3)][Ni(DNI)(2) (H(2)O)(4)]}.6H(2)O, 1, and Pb(DNI)(2)(H(2)O)(4), 2, were characterized by elemental analysis, FT-IR, TG-DSC and X-ray single-crystal diffraction analysis. Crystal data for 1: monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 26.
