Transthoracic echocardiography plays a crucial role in clinical diagnosis and is increasingly being used around the world. Comprehensive echocardiographic examinations require accurate measurements and the operators to have excellent technical skills. Despite the availability of several published echocardiographic guidelines, the absence of recommended operational manuals in daily practice has resulted in significant variation in the content of echocardiography reports across different medical institutions.

The long-term consequences of CM on brain structural and functional plasticity have been well documented. However, the neurophysiological biotypes of CM remain unclear although the childhood trauma questionnaire uses different dimensions to assess trauma types.

Malignant B cell transformation and oncogenic growth relies on efficient ATP synthesis, although the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we report that YTHDF2 facilitates energy supply and antigen escape in B cell malignancies, and its overexpression alone is sufficient to cause B cell transformation and tumorigenesis.

Background: COVID-19 has not only resulted in acute health issues but also led to persistent symptoms known as long COVID, which have been linked to disruptions in sleep quality.
Objective: This study aims to investigate the associations between COVID-19, long COVID, and sleep disturbances, focusing on demographic, socioeconomic, and psychological factors among a Chinese population.
Methods: This cross-sectional study included 1062 participants from China.
Postpartum depression and postpartum depression with anxiety, which are highly prevalent and debilitating disorders, become a growing public concern. The high overlap on the symptomatic and neurobiological levels led to ongoing debates about their diagnostic and neurobiological uniqueness. Delineating the shared and disorder-specific intrinsic functional connectivities and their causal interactions is fundamental to precision diagnosis and treatment.

This report presents 22 cases of EBV-positive NEC, analyzing age distribution, morphology, and immunophenotype. The median patient age was 47 years (range: 27-67 years), with a male-to-female ratio of 17:5.

Mitochondrial-encoded NADH dehydrogenase 6 (MT-ND6) and Annexin A1 (ANXA1), as mitochondrial damage-associated molecular patterns (mtDAMPs) agonist and endogenous agonist of FPR1 respectively, interact with FPR1 regulating polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) function and inflammatory response during sepsis. However, there is no direct evidence of MT-ND6 or ANXA1 in the circulation of patients with sepsis and their potential role in clinical significance, including diagnosis and mortality prediction during sepsis.

However, their complex compositions and various preparation processes have brought considerable challenges to the quality evaluation of Chinese medicines. The traditional methods for TCM quality evaluation suffer from the problems of cumbersome sample preparation, a long detection time, low sensitivity, A more efficient and accurate evaluation method is urgently needed to ensure the stability and reliability of the quality of TCMs.

This study aimed to develop and validate a cancer-specific Doctor-Patient Communication Satisfaction Scale (DPCSS-Cancer) from the patients' perspective.
Methods: Initial items were generated through literature review.
Salt substitute has been widely used to prepare low-salt foods due to potential health benefits, though the role of CaCl in salt substitute and its unique impacts on food quality have been rarely investigated. In this study, comprehensive research has been conducted to elucidate the effects of replacing NaCl with varying concentrations of CaCl on the surimi gel characteristics. The introduction of CaCl interacted with surimi proteins differently from NaCl, thus leading to difference in protein aggregation behaviors and surimi gel properties.

In recent years, strategies aimed at inducing RCD, particularly apoptosis, have become increasingly important in cancer therapy. However, the ability of tumor cells to evade apoptosis has led to treatment resistance and relapse, prompting extensive research into alternative death processes in cancer cells.

Medication therapy is the primary treatment for breast cancer. However, many patients develop multidrug resistance (MDR), which complicates treatment and reduces its effectiveness. To address this, a novel approach was developed by combining the chemotherapeutic drug, doxorubicin (DOX), and the MDR reversal agent, tetrandrine (Tet), within degradable liposomes covered with macrophage membranes to create MM@DOX-Tet nanoparticles (NPs).

Among these, 3Fmm was distinguished by its ability to exhibit immediate room-temperature white phosphorescence following the cessation of UV illumination, whereas 3Fmo and 3Fmp demonstrated TADF properties. Crystallographic analysis revealed unique intermolecular π-π stacking interactions within 3Fmm, absent in the other two isomers.

Delineating specific neural circuits for chronic insomnia disorder (CID) with and without depressive symptoms is fundamental to develop precision diagnosis and treatment. In this study, we examine static, dynamic and network topology changes of individual large-scale functional network for CID with (CID-D) and without depression to reveal their specific neural underpinnings.
