Long-term durable remission in patients with B cell malignancies following chimeric antigen receptor (CAR)-T cell immunotherapy remains unsatisfactory, often due to antigen escape. Malignant B cell transformation and oncogenic growth relies on efficient ATP synthesis, although the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we report that YTHDF2 facilitates energy supply and antigen escape in B cell malignancies, and its overexpression alone is sufficient to cause B cell transformation and tumorigenesis.

This report presents 22 cases of EBV-positive NEC, analyzing age distribution, morphology, and immunophenotype. The median patient age was 47 years (range: 27-67 years), with a male-to-female ratio of 17:5.

Objectives: Formyl peptide receptor 1 (FPR1) is a member of G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) family that detects potentially danger signals characterized by the appearance of N-formylated peptides which originate from either bacteria or host mitochondria during organ injury, including sepsis. Mitochondrial-encoded NADH dehydrogenase 6 (MT-ND6) and Annexin A1 (ANXA1), as mitochondrial damage-associated molecular patterns (mtDAMPs) agonist and endogenous agonist of FPR1 respectively, interact with FPR1 regulating polymorphonuclear leukocytes (PMNs) function and inflammatory response during sepsis. However, there is no direct evidence of MT-ND6 or ANXA1 in the circulation of patients with sepsis and their potential role in clinical significance, including diagnosis and mortality prediction during sepsis.

Salt substitute has been widely used to prepare low-salt foods due to potential health benefits, though the role of CaCl in salt substitute and its unique impacts on food quality have been rarely investigated. In this study, comprehensive research has been conducted to elucidate the effects of replacing NaCl with varying concentrations of CaCl on the surimi gel characteristics. The introduction of CaCl interacted with surimi proteins differently from NaCl, thus leading to difference in protein aggregation behaviors and surimi gel properties.

Molecular design and functional outcomes of RTP and TADF traits in isomers.

This study reports the synthesis and photophysical analysis of three isomeric compounds, namely 3Fmo, 3Fmm, and 3Fmp, which were engineered using carbazole as the electron donor, phthalimide as the electron acceptor, and a benzene ring as the bridging moiety. Among these, 3Fmm was distinguished by its ability to exhibit immediate room-temperature white phosphorescence following the cessation of UV illumination, whereas 3Fmo and 3Fmp demonstrated TADF properties. Crystallographic analysis revealed unique intermolecular π-π stacking interactions within 3Fmm, absent in the other two isomers.

Insomnia is increasingly prevalent with significant associations with depression. Delineating specific neural circuits for chronic insomnia disorder (CID) with and without depressive symptoms is fundamental to develop precision diagnosis and treatment. In this study, we examine static, dynamic and network topology changes of individual large-scale functional network for CID with (CID-D) and without depression to reveal their specific neural underpinnings.

Peat is typically used as a carrier for microbial inoculants; however, due to its non-renewable nature alternatives need to be identified as reliable and renewable carriers for mineral-solubilizing inoculants. In pot experiments, solid microbial inoculants were comprised of peat (P), biochar (BC), and spent mushroom substrates (SMS) using Medicago sativa L. as experimental materials, and the purpose of this study is to assess the effect of solid microbial inoculants on soil multifunctionality and plant growth.

Electroacupuncture alleviates sciatic nerve injury and inhibits autophagy in rats.

Background: Sciatic nerve injury is a common form of peripheral nerve injury (PNI). It has been suggested that electroacupuncture (EA) stimulation at GB30 and ST36 can improve nerve dysfunction post-PNI. Autophagy is an important factor in the regeneration of sciatic nerves and recovery of motor function.

Purpose: To investigate the progression patterns and risk factors of axial elongation in young adults with nonpathologic high myopia.

Design: Prospective, clinical observational cohort study with 2- to 4-year follow-up.

Methods: A total of 1043 eyes of 563 participants (3515 medical records) aged 18 to 50 years with nonpathologic high myopia (axial length [AL] ≥ 26 mm; myopic maculopathy < diffuse chorioretinal atrophy; without posterior staphyloma) were included from 1546 participants (6318 medical records).
