This paper aims to explore the anti-inflammatory mechanism of Saracae Cortex by using network pharmacology and molecular docking methods and verify it through the inflammation model of zebrafish. The effective components, potential core targets, and signaling pathways of Saracae Cortex were obtained by using network pharmacology. A lipopolysaccharide(LPS)-induced inflammation model of zebrafish was established to evaluate the anti-inflammatory activity of aqueous extract and 70% ethanol extract of Saracae Cortex with cell apoptosis rate and reactive oxygen species(ROS) production rate as indicators.

Bacterial vaginitis (BV) is a syndrome of increased vaginal discharge, fishy smelling leucorrhea, and itching and burning vulva caused by the microecological imbalance in the vagina induced by mixture of Gardnerella vaginalis (GV) and some anaerobic bacteria. Fenticonazole, an imidazole derivative and antimicrobial compound, has been demonstrated to exert effective therapeutic effects in mixed vaginitis. Accordingly, our study was designed to explore the potential role of fenticonazole in GV-infected BV mouse models.

In order to obtain stable and inheritable descendants of spaceflight-induced lines, we investigated and analyzed four lines m16, m50, m51, m57 (three individuals of each line) and the ground control (three individuals) of the third generation of spaceflight-induced from primary/secondary metabolism and antioxidative abilities.
Methods: A portable photosynthesis system (Li-6400) with red/blue LED light source was used to perform the photosynthetic characteristics to evaluate their primary productivity.
To evaluate the effect of the host plant on the quality of Loranthaceae species as medicinal raw material, ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled to quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry (UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) was used to identify cardiac glycosides in Nerium indicum and its parasitic plant species Taxillus chinensis and Scurrula parasitica. Samples were collected from N. indicum and these parasites, while Morus alba and its parasite T.

The JASMONATE ZIM DOMAIN (JAZ) proteins act as negative regulators in the JA signaling pathways of plants. We first verified that methyl jasmonate (MeJA) enhanced the accumulation of both salvianolic acids and tanshinones in Salvia miltiorrhiza (Danshen) hairy roots by inducing the expression of their biosynthetic pathway genes.

To date, there are no reports on GRAS family proteins expressed in Salvia miltiorrhiza. In this study, 28 ESTs that contained the GRAS domain were identified from a S.

Sucrose non-fermenting 1-related protein kinase 2(SnRK2) plays a key role in abiotic stress signaling in plants. In this study, we cloned a SmSnRK2.4 gene belonging to subclass I of SnRK2 from Salvia miltiorrhiza by screening its transcriptome database.

We isolated and characterised a tyrosine aminotransferase of Prunella vulgaris (PvTAT). Deduced PvTAT was markedly homologous to other known/putative plant TATs.

Through the correlation analysis on the quantitative traits and their ratios of Salvia miltiorrhiza seedlings and seedling quality, a series of representative indices reflecting the seedling quality of the plant species were determined, and the seedling index suitable to the S. miltiorrhiza seedlings was ascertained by correlation degree analysis. Meanwhile, based on the relationships between the seedling index and the air temperature, solar radiation and air humidity, a simulation model for the seedling index of S.
