Electrochromic capacitors, which are capable of altering their appearances in line with their charged states, are drawing substantial attention from both academia and industry. Tungsten oxide is usually used as an electrochromic layer material for electrochromic devices, or as an active material for high-performance capacitor electrodes. Despite this, acceptable visual aesthetics in electrochromic capacitors have almost never been achieved using tungsten oxide, because, in its pure form, this compound only displays a onefold color modulation from transparent to blue.

Methods: We analyzed 81 AOSPD cases (1993-2024) from the literature and 1 case from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University.

Goals: To identify the association between infliximab trough levels (ITL) and treatment outcomes in small bowel Crohn's disease (SB-CD).
Background: Higher ITL are associated with favorable treatment outcomes in CD. However, the association between ITL and SB-CD treatment outcomes are rarely studied.

Crohn's disease (CD) is a chronic intestinal inflammatory disease associated with genetic, environmental, and other unknown factors. Cluster of differentiation 36 (CD36) plays an important role in cancer, inflammation, and metabolic diseases. Although CD36 has recently been implicated in various diseases, its role in CD is still unclear.

Hcy has been observed to enhance the production of inflammatory agents in vascular endothelial cells. However, the impact of Hcy on intestinal mucosal inflammation remains largely unexplored.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of through-the-scope EUS during double-balloon enteroscopy (DBE-EUS) in distinguishing small-bowel CD patients in endoscopic remission from those with active disease.
Methods: Patients who underwent DBE-EUS were divided into groups of endoscopic remission and endoscopic activity according to segmental Simple Endoscopic Score for Crohn's Disease (SES-CD).
Carriage of HLA-DQA1*05 is thought to increase the formation of anti-tumour necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) antibodies, reducing the drug efficacy in Crohn's disease (CD) patients. However, little data are currently available for small-bowel Crohn's disease (SB-CD). A specific assessment of the impact of HLA-DQA1*05 on the clinical response to treatment with infliximab (IFX), a TNF-α antagonists, in SB-CD patients is necessary.

While Piezo1's role in inducing ferroptosis in chondrocytes and pulmonary endothelial cells is documented, its regulatory function in ferroptosis and intestinal epithelial cells in UC remains unclear. To address this, colonic tissue samples from patients with UC were examined, and specific intestinal epithelial Piezo1-deficient (Piezo1) mice were created to investigate Piezo1's role in UC pathogenesis.

Methods: A comprehensive search of eight databases was conducted from their inception to November 2023. The risk of infections or malignancies in adult IBD patients treated with JAK inhibitors and S1P receptor modulators was compared.
Background: When unintentional pancreatic duct access occurs during difficult biliary cannulation, the double guidewire (DGW) or transpancreatic sphincterotomy (TPS) may be utilized. DGW can be easily switched to TPS due to the existing guidewire in the pancreatic duct. However, the efficacy of TPS after DGW, named sequential DGW-TPS technique, versus primary TPS has not been assessed.

Intestinal stem cells (ISCs) residing in the crypts play a crucial role in the continuous self-renewal and rapid recovery of intestinal epithelial cells (IECs). However, how ISCs are dysregulated in IBD remains poorly understood.

Bainong sterility (BNS) is a thermo-sensitive genic male sterile wheat line, characterised by anther fertility transformation in response to low temperature (LT) stress during meiosis, the failure of vacuole decomposition and the absence of starch accumulation in sterile bicellular pollen. Our study demonstrates that the late microspore (LM) stage marks the transition from the anther growth to anther maturation phase, characterised by the changes in anther structure, carbohydrate metabolism and the main transport pathway of sucrose (Suc). Fructan is a main storage polysaccharide in wheat anther, and its synthesis and remobilisation are crucial for anther development.

Objectives: We aimed to identify the effect of different factors on attaining ER using double-balloon endoscopy (DBE) evaluation.
Design: A single-center retrospective observational study was conducted from 1 January 2018 to 30 November 2022.
Cyanobacteria outbreaks are serious water pollution events, causing water crises around the world. Photocatalytic disinfection, as an effective approach, has been widely used to inhibit blue algae growth. In this study, a tiny reaction room containing a TiO film was designed to fulfill in situ optical observation of the destruction process of a one-dimensional multicellular microorganism, sp.
