Objective: Dengue fever is a rapidly spreading viral disease transmitted by mosquitoes, and it is becoming a global concern. This study aimed to assess the awareness, attitude, and performance of the people in Hormozgan province in carrying out preventive behaviors and dengue fever control methods.
Method: This descriptive-analytical study was conducted in 1401 in Bandar Abbas, Iran.
species are distributed in Africa and Asia. Seven species of this genus have been identified in Iran of which six species have been reported from Hormozgan province. Members of this genus are the most dangerous scorpions in Iran.

Background: Every year, thousands of cases and many deaths from scorpion sting are reported in tropical areas of South and Southwestern parts of Iran. The aim of this study was to identify the fauna and dangerous species of scorpions in Roudan County, southern Iran.
Methods: This descriptive study was conducted in 10 stations in Hormozgan Province.
Scorpion sting is a public health problem in south and southwestern parts of Iran, with about 36,000 cases recorded annually. This study aimed to find the spatial distribution of scorpions and their stings in Bandar Abbas County. Monthly scorpion sting cases at the village level were obtained and used for mapping.
