Interlaminar shear strength (ILSS) and compressive strength are two of the most critical properties of carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP). In this report, three types of epoxy resins-4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane epoxy resin (AG-80), bisphenol A epoxy resin (E-1NT), and novolac epoxy (EPN)-were studied. E-1NT is characterized by low viscosity and low cost but exhibits poor mechanical properties, while AG-80 offers better wetting with carbon fiber.

Background And Objective: Hepatitis virus infections are affecting millions of people worldwide, causing death, disability, and considerable expenditure. Chronic infection with hepatitis C virus (HCV) can cause severe public health problems because of their high prevalence and poor long-term clinical outcomes. Tile industry wastewater is known to contain a high concentration of TSS and turbidity resulting from various raw materials. In the present study, the effectiveness of the coagulation process on turbidity and TSS removal from Kuwait ceramic tile industry wastewater was investigated using ferric chloride as a coagulant. The experiments were conducted using jar tests to determine the optimum operating conditions of coagulant dosages, pH, and settling time.

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus that caused an outbreak of typical pneumonia first in Wuhan and then globally. Although researchers focus on the human-to-human transmission of this virus but not much research is done on the dynamics of the virus in the environment and the role humans play by releasing the virus into the environment. In this paper, a novel nonlinear mathematical model of the COVID-19 epidemic is proposed and analyzed under the effects of the environmental virus on the transmission patterns.

The study reported CO storage properties of single-walled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) modified by introducing amino groups onto CNT surfaces via a chemical process. Two different approaches were used to produce amino-functionalized nanotubes by adding lithium amide and l-lysine amino acid. Lithium amide was introduced on CNT surfaces, and then, it was further modified by adding amino-moiety (l-lysine amino acid) to obtain multiamino sites on the CNT surface for CO storage.
