The aim of the study is to investigate whether the Doppler indexes which measured at different points of the umbilical cord (UC) are related to the cord length. In this prospective study, umbilical artery (UA) Doppler indexes were measured at the fetal and placental insertion, free loop (FL) and intra-abdominal (IA) portion at 37-42 weeks of gestation in low-risk singleton pregnancies. Achalasia is a primary esophageal motility disorder characterized by the absence of primary peristalsis and a failure of the lower esophageal sphincter to relax, resulting in a dilated esophagus. Dysphagia is the classic and most common symptom. Respiratory obstruction due to tracheal compression caused by a massively dilated esophagus is a very rare but fatal complication.

Localized cystic disease of kidney (LCDK) is a rare, non-familial, non-progressive renal disorder that is not associated with cysts or disorders in other organs. Only a few cases have been reported in the literature. While this condition is morphologically identical to the autosomal dominant form of polycystic kidney disease, it is not inherited and is not associated with significant deterioration of renal function.
