Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze the biomechanical behavior of implants with varying number, inclination, and size, using 3-dimensional finite element (FE) analysis.

Material And Methods: A total of 10 FE models were constructed to simulate 5 implant placement configurations: 4 and 5 axial implants, 4 implants inclined with 17.5 degrees mesial and 35 degrees distal, and 2 axial and 2 distal implants inclined with 17.

Cleft palate is a congenital disorder characterized by maxillary growth defect and dental anomalies. Its correction requires an interdisciplinary approach, which includes surgical, orthodontic, and prosthetic treatments. This clinical report describes the prosthetic management of a 19-year-old woman with a unilateral cleft palate defect that had not been closed completely with surgical repair.

Statement Of Problem: Composite resins are recommended for root reinforcement, but little information exists about self-adhesive resin cements that eliminate the acid etching and bonding steps.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the fracture resistances of teeth restored with 2 different diameters of cast and fiber posts and to evaluate the effectiveness of increasing internal root thickness with 2 resin-based materials to reinforce thin-walled teeth.

Material And Methods: Ninety maxillary incisors were endodontically treated and divided into 9 groups.

Statement Of Problem: There is limited information on the visual and instrumental evaluation of color match between a natural tooth and a ceramic crown.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of 2 shade guides on color match, and to evaluate the relationship between color difference (ΔE) values and examiners' assessments of the color match in ceramic crowns.

Material And Methods: Thirty-three subjects were selected for a ceramic crown restoration of the maxillary central incisor.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to compare shear bond strengths of cast Ni-Cr and Co-Cr alloys and the laser-sintered Co-Cr alloy to dental porcelain.

Methods: Dental porcelain was applied on two cast and one laser-sintered base metal alloy. Ten specimens were prepared for each group for bond strength comparison.

A dental arch with diastemata and missing lateral incisors represents a challenge because of discrepancies in tooth size. If an implant-supported prosthesis is not possible or not selected as a treatment option, a modified resin-bonded fixed partial denture may be a treatment option to eliminate the esthetic problems of conventional fixed partial dentures. This clinical report describes the procedures to replace congenitally missing lateral incisors with a resin-bonded prosthesis, while maintaining diastemata.

Statement Of Problem: Although all-ceramic restorations are widely used, there is a lack of information about how the fit is affected by fabrication procedures. The adequacy of the fit of all-ceramic restorations has been questioned.

Purpose: This study examined the effect of porcelain and glaze firing cycles on the fit of 3 types of all-ceramic crowns.
