Objective: Our aim in this study is, does 29-day regular consumption of water extract by volunteer individuals who meet the study criteria have an effect on blood and cytokine values?
Method: In accordance with the purpose of the study, volunteers were asked to consume 100 ml of the extract every morning for 29 days. Three tubes of blood samples were taken from the volunteers on the 15th and 29th days of the study. Biochemical and hematological analysis of the blood samples were performed and immunomodulatory effects through cytokines were examined.

To assess the oncological and functional outcomes of patients aged 70 years or older after robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (RARP) and compare their results with younger men. Our study included 496 men who underwent RARP in our clinic between March 2015 and December 2021 with at least 1-year follow-up. Of these patients, 130 were aged 70 or older, and 366 were between 60 and 69.

Then, Microbial chondroitin sulfate (MCS)'s antioxidant, anticholinesterase, and antibacterial activity were compared with commercial chondroitin sulfate (CCS). The antioxidant studies revealed that the MCS and CCS samples could be potential targets for scavenging radicals and cupric ion reduction.

From its beneficial effects on the respiratory tract or the gastrointestinal system, to its unique skin-related activities, the investigation of the medicinal properties of thyme has always been an alluring topic for researchers aiming to develop conventional medications from this traditional herb. With an incentive to contribute to the extensive thyme research, three L.

PE fractions were evaluated by GC/MS for profiling the terpenoids and the fatty acids of the plant.

Cytotoxic activity was evaluated by MTT assay, and apoptosis induction abilities on human prostate adenocarcinoma (PC-3), and hepatocellular carcinoma (Hep G2) cell lines. Accordingly, major secondary metabolites were found as hederagenin (762 ± 70.

Materials And Methods: Patients who had a solitary unilateral ureteric stone, determined by noncontrast computerized tomography, were assessed if they had undergone ureteroscopic lithotripsy. A total of 111 patients, 84 males (76%), and 27 females (24%), were recruited to the study.
Ethnopharmacological Relevance: Hypericum empetrifolium Willd is a member of the Hypericaceae family, mainly known in southern Greece, and western Turkey. Being a centuries-old medicinal plant, the aerial parts of the plant have been used for the treatment of herpes, kidney stones, gastric ulcer, and also for their anti-helminthic, and diuretic purposes traditionally.
Aim Of The Study: The current study aimed to investigate the phytochemical profiles of the essential oil, and two ethanol extracts prepared from the aerial parts (H.
Background: Traditionally, the trans-peritoneal approach is preferred for robot-assisted partial nephrectomy (RPN). However, retroperitoneal RPN (RP-RPN) has recently become widespread because of the advantages of easier access to the hilum, ease dissection of posterior tumours, and lower probability of intra-peritoneal organ injury. We aimed to present our initial experience of the RP-RPN series in posteriorly located renal tumours.

Methods: A total of 103 patients who underwent laparoscopic (n = 31) and robotic (n = 72) partial nephrectomy between April 2015 and November 2018 were included in the study. Perioperative parameters, long-term oncological and functional outcomes were compared between the laparoscopic and robotic groups.
Objective: The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of peritoneal re-approximation at the end of the procedure in transperitoneal robot-assisted radical prostatectomy (tRARP) and extended pelvic lymphadenectomy (ePLND) on operative, oncologic, and symptomatic lymphocele rates.
Material And Methods: A total of 79 patients were included in the study who underwent tRARP and bilateral ePLND performed by two different experienced surgeons. One of the surgeons performed the peritoneal re-approximation (Group 1, n=41) and the other did not re-approximate the peritoneum (Group 2, n=38) at the end of the procedure in tRARP and ePLND.
Purpose: To evaluate the effect of a new mesenchymal stem cell type derived from the neonatal bladder (nMSC-B) on diabetic bladder dysfunction (DBD).
Materials And Methods: nMSC-B were harvested from neonatal male Sprague-Dawley rat's bladder and expanded in culture. nMSC-B were transferred to Type-1 diabetic rats which were induced by a single dose 45 mg/kg Streptozocin (STZ).

A series of novel calix[4]azacrown substituted sulphonamide Schiff bases was synthesised by the reaction of calix[4]azacrown aldehydes with different substituted primary and secondary sulphonamides. The obtained novel compounds were investigated as inhibitors of six human (h) isoforms of carbonic anhydrases (CA, EC 4.2.

Methods: A total of 331 non-menopausal and sexually active patients between the ages of 18 and 50, meeting recurrent urinary infection criteria and not meeting exclusion criteria were included in the study in group 1, the infection group, and 440 patients without recurrent UTI were included in group 2, the control group.
Background: Alzheimer's Disease (AD) is one of the most prevalent causes of dementia in the world, and no drugs available that can provide a complete cure. Cholinergic neurons of the cerebral cortex of AD patients are lost due to increased activity of cholinesterase enzymes.

A series of 16 novel benzenesulfonamides incorporating 1,3,5-triazine moieties substituted with aromatic amines, dimethylamine, morpholine and piperidine were investigated. These compounds were assayed for antioxidant properties by using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assay, 2,2`-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid (ABTS) radical decolarisation assay and metal chelating methods. They were also investigated as inhibitors of acetylcholinesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) and tyrosinase, which are associated with several diseases such as Alzheimer, Parkinson and pigmentation disorders.

The main expected outcomes from an ideal PN are surgical margin negativity, minimal impairment in renal function, and any surgical complications. Many authors have defined PN techniques as "zero ischemia partial nephrectomy", where surgery is performed without clamping the main renal artery in order to protect the renal parenchyma from ischemic injury.
