Cutaneous angiosarcoma - a rare case report in Indian female!

Cutaneous angiosarcoma is a rare vascular tumour especially of elderly males. We present a rare case of elderly female who presented with scalp lesion, parotid swelling and posed a diagnostic challenge. Further work up including biopsy of the lesion revealed the diagnosis of cutaneous angiosarcoma.

Acute eosinophilic ascites: an unusual form of an unusual case.

Eosinophilic gastroenteritis (EGE) is an uncommon disease characterised by eosinophilic infiltration in the gastrointestinal tract. EGE may involve more than one layer of the gastrointestinal tract. Clinical features depend on the layer and location which is involved.

Splenic complications in malaria: a case series.

Splenic complications in malaria may be either simple asymptomatic enlargement or serious conditions, such as splenic infarction, rupture, hematoma or abscess, which can be fatal. Only a few cases have been reported in the literature since 1960. The true incidence of splenic complications is not known because of underdiagnosis and underreporting.

Comparison of the immunogenicity and safety of two different brands of Salmonella typhi Vi capsular polysaccharide vaccine.

Background: The recent emergence of multi-drug-resistant Salmonella strains highlights the need for better preventive measures, including vaccination. Safe and immunologic vaccines have been developed based on purified Vi polysaccharide.

Objective: To compare the immune response elicited by two different brands of Salmonella Vi capsular polysaccharide vaccine (ViCPS).
