Introduction: Leiomyoma is a rare tumor of smooth muscle origin with a very low incidence in the maxillofacial region. Intraosseous occurrence of oral leiomyoma is even rare with involvement of mandible followed by maxilla.

Aim: The purpose of this paper is to present a case of intraosseous leiomyoma of the left mandibular angle region with the review of literature describing this rare entity.

Traumatic injuries to the lower third of the face can result in damage to various vital structures. We report a case of traumatically avulsed Stenson's duct and facial vein wherein the vein was used as a free graft to lengthen the duct. The paper highlights the need on how best to utilise the locally available and viable tissues as free grafts.

Temporomandibular ankylosis is characterized by the formation of a bony mass which replaces normal temporomandibular joint (TMJ) articulation. Anaesthetic management in these patients requires expertise and dependable intubation technique that allows successful intubation due to anticipated difficulty in accessing the airway. A novel technique of endotracheal intubation is used for the successful airway management during the surgical treatment in patients with TMJ ankylosis with the assistance of fiberscope and GlideScope(®) videolaryngoscope.
