The current paper highlights the active development of tissue engineering in the field of the biofabrication of living tissue analogues through 3D-bioprinting technology. The implementation of the latter is impossible without important products such as bioinks and their basic components, namely, hydrogels. In this regard, tissue engineers are searching for biomaterials to produce hydrogels with specified properties both in terms of their physical, mechanical and chemical properties and in terms of local biological effects following implantation into an organism.

To study network mechanisms underlying seizure termination and postictal depression, we explore dynamics of interhemispheric functional connectivity near the offset of focal and bilateral seizures in the experimental model of reflex audiogenic epilepsy. Spreading depolarization (SD), a self-propagated wave of transient depolarization, regularly occurs in the cortex after acute brain insults and is now referred as an important diagnostic and therapeutic target in patients with acute brain injury. In present study we performed gas-liquid chromatographic analysis of exhaled breath condensate to measure volatile fatty acids (C2 - acetic, C3 - propionic, C4 - butanoic, isoC4 - isobutyric, C5 - valerianic, C6 - caproic, C7 - heptanoic) and fatty acid with a long aliphatic chain (C14:0 - myristic, C15:0 - pentadecanoic, C16:0 - palmitic, C16:1 - palmitooleic, C17:0 - heptadecanoic, C17:1 - heptadecenoic, C18:0 - stearic, C18:1 - oleic, C18:2 - linolenic, C18:3ω3 - α-linolenic, C20:4ω6 - arachidonic) in patients suffering from moderate chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (2nd stage, GOLD). We revealed the increase of the total amount of short chain fatty acids (C2, C3, C4, C5) and polyunsaturated (C18:2, C20:4ω6) fatty acids, meanwhile the level of saturated fatty acids (C16:0, C17:0, C18:0) decreased.

Objective: Growing evidence shows a critical role of network disturbances in the pathogenesis of migraine. Unilateral pattern of neurological symptoms of aura suggests disruption of interhemispheric interactions during the early phase of a migraine attack. Solid bifunctional catalysts based on cesium salts of V-containing heteropoly acids (CsHPA: CsHPWVO, CsHSiWVO, CsHPMoVO) and CsHPMoO were used for studying one-pot hydrolysis-oxidation of potato starch to formic acid at 413-443 K and 2 MPa air mixture. It was shown that the optimum process temperature that prevents formic acid from destruction is 423 K. The studies were focused on the influence of the composition of heteropoly anions on the yield and selectivity of formic acid.

The paper presents three datasets obtained by electrochemical quartz microbalance technique which was applied to studies of conducting polymer film in contact with non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The first dataset describes the calibration procedure of gold-coated quartz crystal, immersed in acetonitrile silver ion-containing electrolyte, by means of silver layer electrodeposition. On the basis of experimentally measured dependence of the resonance frequency on the varying electrode mass in the course of electrochemical silver deposition/dissolution, the calibration coefficient was found to be equal to 13.

Administration of the immunotoxin 192IgG-saporin to rats, an animal model of AD, leads to degeneration of cholinergic neurons in the medial septal area.
