A cervical length (CL) assessment may predict preterm birth (PTB). This study aimed to analyze and compare the recommendations of guidelines on the role of CL in the prediction of PTB. There is no consensus regarding universal screening of asymptomatic women without a history of prior spontaneous PTB (sPTB), using CL.
