Methods: Primary molar teeth restored with PZCs (n equals 30 per group) were cemented using glass ionomer cement (GIC), resin-modified GIC (BioCem™), or adhesive resin cement (APC technique: air- particle abrasion, zirconia primer, composite resin). Crown retention, plaque accumulation, and gingival status were evaluated over three years; cumulative crown survival was assessed using Kalpan-Meier analysis.
Talon cusp is a rare dental anomaly which consists of a supernumerary projection from the cingulum towards the incisal edge of the tooth. Aim: To evaluate salivary ferritin levels in children with severe early childhood caries (ECC).
Materials And Methods: One hundred twenty participants were split into a study group that consisted of 60 children with severe ECC (dmft ≥5) and a control group that was free of caries. Both groups were age and gender-matched.
The aim of this paper is to present two methods of revascularization done in traumatized immature, nonvital anterior teeth using platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) and natural blood clot as a scaffold material. This was performed after disinfection of the root canal space using tri-antibacterial paste. In one tooth, PRF prepared from autologous blood was placed in the canal and in the other tooth, natural bleeding was induced to obtain a fresh blood clot.
