To reduce the operating temperature, more active air electrodes (positrodes) are needed. In the present work, BaCoFeMgYO (BCFMY) is investigated as a positrode material for application in PCFCs as well as solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs).

In this study, four novel polyethylene glycol (PEG)-based DESs were prepared and evaluated for their physicochemical properties, including density, dynamic viscosity, and kinematic viscosity. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and NMR analyses revealed substantial intermolecular interactions between the hydrogen bond donor and hydrogen bond acceptor components, confirming the formation of stable DES systems.

Materials And Methods: A total of 20 broiler breasts were treated with different concentrations of elemental zinc (Zn) of food-grade ZnSO₄ for making meatballs. The study included a control group without added Zn (T0: 0 mg/kg) and treatment groups with Zn concentrations of 10 mg/kg (T1), 20 mg/kg (T2), 30 mg/kg (T3), and 40 mg/kg (T4).
Work operations involving intensive physical activities under hot stressful workplaces may impose substantial heat stress on the employed workforce, particularly in underdeveloped countries. The present study analysed occupational heat stress and its effect on workers' well-being and productivity under distinct work environments in small-scale foundries in Northern India. Several dominant heat indices were used for evaluating the occupational heat risk exposure among foundry workers.

The experimental investigation of WIS-incorporated concrete focused on compressive and tensile strength with machine learning (ML) models for prediction. Among the tested ML algorithms, Decision Tree (DT) and XGBoost showed the highest accuracy (R = 0.

Most NSCLC patients are diagnosed at advanced stages, which is associated with a poor prognosis and a very low 5-year survival rate. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate molecular markers for early diagnosis, prognosis and therapy of NSCLC through the integration of bioinformatics and statistical methods.

Purpose: To present the clinical features and management outcomes in a series of patients with orbital and adnexal sarcoidosis.
Methods: This was a retrospective analysis of 19 histopathologically proven cases of orbital and adnexal sarcoidosis over the past ten years. The data analyzed included demographic details, clinical and imaging features, and management outcomes.
The antibiotic metronidazole (MNZ) has gained interest as a potential MRI contrast agent for imaging hypoxia. N-labeled MNZ can be efficiently hyperpolarized via SABRE-SHEATH (Signal Amplification By Reversible Exchange in SHield Enables Alignment Transfer to Heteronuclei), but the envisioned MRI approach requires that MNZ rapidly undergoes structural changes in hypoxic environments with significant N frequency differences manifested in its downstream metabolic products. We have performed NMR studies of the anticipated metabolic product amino-MNZ (despite anticipated stability concerns) accompanied by computational density functional theory (DFT) studies to predict the N chemical shifts of different relevant species.

This condition increases the risk of spine fractures in patients, even from trivial injuries. The process of slow bone formation within the ligaments of the spine and the fusion of the spinal diarthrosis contribute to the most prominent symptom of progressive stiffness of joints, predominantly affecting the spine and sacroiliac joints.

The growing concern over environmental pollution has spurred extensive research into various contaminants impacting ecosystems and human health. Emerging contaminants (ECs), including pharmaceuticals, personal care products, endocrine-disrupting chemicals, nanomaterials, and microplastics, have garnered significant attention due to their persistence, bioaccumulation, and toxicity. This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of EC research, aiming to detail the research landscape, highlight significant contributions, and identify influential researchers and pivotal studies.

This study investigates the correlation between glycemic control and cardiac health in 77 diabetic patients.
Methods: Patients with both type 1 and type 2 DM aged 14 to 82 years were included.
Background And Objective: Contagious caprine pleuropneumonia (CCPP) is a highly contagious mycoplasmal respiratory disease primarily affecting goats and sheep caused by subsp. (Mccp). So far, there is no available information on either the serological or molecular identification of Mccp in Bangladesh.

The performance of a new Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) mobile grain and seed dryer (HMD) integrated with dual heating system was assessed regarding the quality of dried seed and grain. The HMD was found to be capable of drying 720 ± 10 kg paddy in a batch and drying period varied between 7 and 8 h at drying air temperatures of 65 °C.

While deep learning models have shown remarkable success in segmenting lungs from CXR images with normal or mildly abnormal findings, their performance declines when faced with complex structures, such as pulmonary opacifications. In this study, we propose AMRU++, an attention-based multi-residual UNet++ network designed for robust and accurate lung segmentation in CXR images with both normal and severe abnormalities.
