Diabetic foot ulcers are characterized by disturbances in the epidermis and/or a portion of the dermis in patients with the disease. With over a million amputations performed annually, it has also emerged as one of the primary causes of lower limb amputation globally. To better understand the severity and anatomical distribution of ulcerated areas in patients with type II diabetes mellitus, this study aimed to identify the factors associated with diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs).

Background: Laser hemorrhoidoplasty is a minimally invasive procedure to treat hemorrhoids and has shown better outcomes. Less is known about its utility in a lower middle-income country; Bangladesh.
Method: Between March 2023 and December 2023, 86 patients with grade II-IV hemorrhoids underwent laser hemorroidoplasty.
Introduction And Importance: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) are rare mesenchymal tumors with varied clinical presentations. This case report highlights the significance of recognizing atypical GIST presentations, such as hematemesis, especially in resource-limited settings.
Case Presentation: A 52-year-old male from an economically disadvantaged background presented with hematemesis and severe anemia.
