Background: Low birth weight is recognized as a pivotal risk factor affecting child survival and growth. Although Bangladesh has made commendable progress in public health, an infant mortality rate of 38 per 1000 live births and a 16% prevalence of low birth weight remain significant concerns compared to other developing countries. This situation poses a significant challenge for the formulation of future health policies in Bangladesh.

The synthesized green AgNPs were characterized by various analytical techniques including UV-Vis spectroscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), X-ray diffractometry (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), energy dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy, From the UV-Vis spectroscopic analysis, the formation of nanoparticles has been confirmed by the color change from light yellow to reddish brown of the solution due to the excitation of the surface plasmon resonance peak at 430 nm. In addition, the FTIR study showed the reduction of Ag ions owing to the presence of biomolecules in the leaf extract, which acted as reducing as well as capping agents.

The structural phase of all the samples is characterized by XRD, show single phased cubic spinel structure. Density of the samples increases with the increase of Mg quantity.
