Drug consumption among young women in Bangladesh is increasing day by day. The research aims to analyze the factors influencing young females to take drugs in Bangladesh. This exploratory study was carried out using a qualitative research method.

Bio-intervention phyto-based material for raw goatskin preservation: a cleaner-sustainable approach.

The regular practice of using sodium chloride to preserve raw animal skin triggers increasing salinity and total dissolved solids (TDS) in the surface and groundwater during rehydration soaking operations. The process disrupts the lives of animals, plants, and human beings. This paper is focused on the phyto-based short-term preservation of goatskin to reduce salinity in tannery soaking operations.

Here a young snake charmer who had skin tuberculosis 5 yrs back admitted into National institute of diseases of Chest and hospital (NIDCH), Dhaka with the complaints of cough, palpitation and breathlessness for 2 months.

Determination of tamoxifen--DNA adducts in leukocytes from breast cancer patients treated with tamoxifen.

Tamoxifen (TAM), a widely used antiestrogen for breast cancer therapy and chemoprevention, increases the incidence of endometrial cancer in women. The formation of DNA adducts induced by tamoxifen may initiate endometrial cancer. To evaluate the genotoxic risk of TAM, the formation of DNA adducts in leukocytes was examined.
