The methanol-to-olefins (MTO) process has the potential to bridge future gaps in the supply of sustainable lower olefins. Promoting the selectivity of propylene and ethylene and revealing the catalytic role of active sites are challenging goals in MTO reactions. Here, we report a novel heteroatomic silicoaluminophosphate (SAPO) zeolite, SAPO-34-Ta, which incorporates active tantalum(V) sites within the framework to afford an optimal distribution of acidity.

Histopathological analysis of tissue sections of the rat thyroid gland remains the gold standard for the evaluation for agrochemical effects on the thyroid. However, there is a high degree of variability in the appearance of the rat thyroid gland, and toxicologic pathologists often struggle to decide on and consistently apply a threshold for recording low-grade thyroid follicular hypertrophy.

Facilitation can support implementation of research into clinical practice by helping people develop the strategies to implement change. However, variability in the amount (dose) and type of facilitation activities/facilitator roles that make up the facilitation strategies (content), may affect the effectiveness of facilitation.

Background: Pressure injury causes harm to patients and incurs significant costs to health services. Significant emphasis is placed on their prevention.
Phenylacetylene is a detrimental impurity in the polymerisation of styrene, capable of poisoning catalysts even at ppm levels and significantly degrading the quality of polystyrene. The semi-hydrogenation of phenylacetylene to styrene instead of ethylbenzene is, therefore, an important industrial process. We report a novel cerium(iv)-based metal-organic framework (denoted as Ce-bptc), which comprises {Ce} clusters bridged by biphenyl-3,3',5,5'-tetracarboxylate linkers.

Design: A convergent integrated mixed-methods systematic review using the Joanna Briggs Institute approach.
Methods: Included studies reported (i) acute care hospital clinicians' and patients' experiences and preferences for preventing and managing surgical site infections and (ii) barriers and facilitators to implementing surgical site infection prevention and management guidelines.
We probe herein the fundamental factors that induce decoherence in ensembles of molecular magnetic materials. This is done by pulse Electron Paramagnetic Resonance measurements at X-band (∼9.6 GHz) on single crystals of Gd@Y(trensal) at 0.

In 2017, a 'Strong Recommendation' for use of FeSS Protocols was included in the Australian Clinical Guidelines for Stroke Management. We aimed to: i) compare adherence to FeSS Protocols pre- and post-guideline inclusion; ii) determine if adherence varied with prior participation in a treatment arm of a FeSS Intervention study, or receiving treatment in a stroke unit; and compare findings with our previous studies.

Here, we report the synthesis of the first f-block bis(triisopropylsilyl)phosphide complexes, [Ln{P(SiPr)}(THF)] (; Ln = Sm, Eu, = 3; Ln = Yb, = 2), by the respective salt metathesis reactions of parent [LnI(THF)] with 2 equiv of [Na{P(SiPr)}] in toluene. Complexes were characterized by a combination of NMR, EPR, ATR-IR, electronic absorption and emission spectroscopies, elemental analysis, SQUID magnetometry, and single crystal X-ray diffraction.

Background: Clinician researchers across all health disciplines are emerging to radically influence practice change and improve patient outcomes. Yet, to date, there are limited clinician researcher career pathways embedded in clinical practice for nurses and midwives.
Both metalloporphyrins and heterometallic {CrNi} rings are of significant research interest due to their proposed roles in quantum information processing devices. In this study, we present a series of complexes in which [CrNiF(Etglu)(OCBu)] (-EtgluH = -ethyl-dglucamine) heterometallic rings are coordinated to metalloporphyrin linkers: the symmetric [M(TPyP)] for M = Cu, VO, and HTPyP = 5,10,15,20-tetra(4-pyridyl)porphyrin; and the asymmetric [{VO}(TrPPyP)] for H(TrPPyP) = 5,10,15-(triphenyl)-20-(4-pyridyl)porphyrin. The magnetic interactions present in these complexes are unraveled using the continuous wave (CW) electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) technique.

The [2]rotaxanes have general formula [RH][CrNiF(OCBu)], where [RH] is a thread with a central secondary ammonium site that templates a [CrNiF(OCBu)] ring. The threads are terminated at one or both ends by carboxylic acid functionalised salen groups.

H and C HYSCORE simulations using the computed parameters show excellent agreement with the experimental data, highlighting the accuracy of modern relativistic ab initio methods. The extent of covalency indicated from the calculations on [ThCp] is in agreement with the original report based on traditional spectral fitting methods, while the covalency in [UCp] is found to be previously overestimated.

Here, we apply H NMR spectroscopy to investigate the relative stabilities of a series of linear alkylammonium templated pseudorotaxanes with the general formula [HNRR'][CrCoF(OCCH Bu)] by exchanging the cation in solution. Our results show that the pseudorotaxanes are able to exchange threads via a dissociative mechanism.

This research began as a clinical-academic partnership established around a shared concern of nursing physical assessment practices on general wards and delayed recognition of clinical deterioration. The outcome was the development of a complex intervention facilitated at the ward level for proactive nursing surveillance.
