The objective of this descriptive study was to examine Twitter's #PhysicalActivity health education and promotion efforts, including differences in response before (March 2019-February 2020) and during (March 2020-February 2021) the COVID-19 pandemic.

Methods: Contrived DBS eluates from convalescent, fully vaccinated and pre-COVID-19 serum samples were evaluated in SARS-CoV-2 plaque reduction neutralization titer (PRNT) assays, a SARS-CoV-2 specific 8-plex microsphere immunoassay, a cell-based pseudovirus assay, and two different spike-ACE2 inhibition assays, an in-house Luminex-based RBD-ACE2 inhibition assay and a commercial real-time PCR-based inhibition assay (NAB-Sure).
This research evaluated the intra- and interlaboratory variability when applying OECD 301F and OECD 301B Ready Biodegradation respirometric test methods to quantify polymer biodegradation as well as the impact of method modifications including test duration, inoculum level and test substance concentration on results. This assessment synthesizes results of mineralization studies on 5 polymers of varying structural components, molecular weight, charge, and solubility, evaluated at 8 different laboratories in 4 different countries, providing significant geographic variation in inoculum source as well as lab to lab variations in test setup. Across all laboratories, intralaboratory variability was low (≤18 % absolute difference) indicating the reproducibility of results between replicates and uniformity of test setup in each laboratory.

Acanthocephalans are parasitic worms that use arthropods as intermediate hosts in their multi-host life cycles. Though acanthocephaliasis is rare among humans today, cases have increased in the last decade, and the discovery of acanthocephalan eggs in coprolites from archaeological sites in the Great Basin suggests a deep, shared history.
