[Prevalence of vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency and associated factors in Colombian women in 2015].

Introduction: vitamin D is a fundamental biomolecule for multiple biological processes in women of childbearing age; it is also one of the most important biomarkers in reproduction. Objective: to determine the prevalence of vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency and associated factors in Colombian women between 18 and 49 years of age. Methodology: an analytical cross-sectional study; it is a secondary analysis of the Encuesta de Situación Nutricional de Colombia, of 2015.
