Samples of fish and shellfish (periwinkles, mussel, and snail) collected from the rapidly contaminated Ogbese River, Ondo State, Nigeria, were analyzed for their polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) levels by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry after cleanup using solid-phase extraction.
