To study the effects of inhibition of catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) and monoamine oxidase (MAO) on the removal of circulating catecholamines, anaesthetized rabbits were infused for 120 min with 3H-labelled noradrenaline, adrenaline and dopamine.
