If applied to unmyelinated fibres this has great potential to improve selective neuromodulation ("electroceuticals") to avoid off-target effects. Previously, bioimpedance recordings were averaged from unmyelinated crab leg nerve fibres, but the signal to noise ratio (SNR) needs improving.
