Orthodontic Treatment of a Case With Palatally Impacted Canine and Missing Molars: A Case Report.

Interdisciplinary care provides a comprehensive method for the management of impacted teeth. Careful planning is necessary to achieve the desired treatment goals. This article highlights the importance of diagnosis as well as adequate treatment planning for the eruption of impacted teeth and the management of missing molars to achieve a balanced occlusion in circumstances when an ideal occlusion cannot be achieved.

Switching of majority charge carriers by Zn doping in NdNiO thin films.

We have studied the effects of Zn doping on the structural and electronic properties of epitaxial NdNiO thin films grown on single-crystal LaAlO (001) (LAO) substrates by pulsed laser deposition. The films are deposited in two sets, one with variation in Zn doping, and another with variation in thickness for undoped and 2% Zn doping. The experimental investigations show that Zn occupies Ni-site and that the films are grown with an in-plane compressive strain on LAO.

Strain-mediated effects of oxygen deficiency and variation in non-Fermi liquid behavior of epitaxial PrNiO thin films.

To understand the effects of oxygen variation in combination with different strains in perovskite nickelates, three sets of PrNiO thin films S , S and S were deposited on (0 0 1) oriented single-crystal wafers of SrTiO, LSAT [(LaAlO)(SrTaAlO)] and LaAlO, respectively. Two sets of films, S and S , have tensile strain whereas the films of S show compressive strain. For each set, two thin films of fixed thickness (5 nm) were deposited; one film was annealed in situ in oxygen partial pressure just after deposition, the other film was not annealed.

Since Oxford dictionary has described 'Selfie', selfie deaths have received a fair amount of coverage but the extent of the problem and the data behind it have not been appropriately explored. The aim of our study is to obtain epidemiological characteristics of selfie-related mortality worldwide with the objective of providing an insight to 'Why selfie', 'Why risky', 'Psychological basis' and 'measures of control.' Despite thousands of web pages, very few scientific articles are available in medical journals.

The comparative data for angioplasty and stenting for treatment of peripheral arterial disease are largely limited to technical factors such as patency rates with sparse data on clinical outcomes like mortality, postprocedural complications, and amputation. The study cohort was derived from the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project Nationwide Inpatient Sample database from 2006 to 2011. Peripheral endovascular interventions were identified using appropriate International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision (ICD-9) Diagnostic and procedural codes.
