Human mesenchymal stem/stromal cells (hMSC) are promising therapeutic agents for regenerative medicine. However, therapeutic doses necessary for clinical application require in vitro expansion, ideally under Xeno-Free (XF) conditions to avoid the use of foetal bovine serum (FBS).
