[Marburg virus disease in travellers].

Marburg virus disease (MVD) is a dreadful but exceptional disease. Formerly mainly identified in Uganda, Angola and the Democratic Republic of Congo, it has recently appeared in the Republic of Guinea, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea and Tanzania, adding West Africa to the affected regions. Humans become infected through exposure to bats Roussettus aegyptiacus or during unprotected care of infected people.
