A female patient in her 70s presented with mild slurred speech. Clinical assessment revealed only minor dysarthria. A stroke protocol CT study was performed comprising a non-contrast CT head, CT angiogram (CTA) and CT perfusion (CTP) imaging.

Real-world evaluation of Brainomix e-Stroke software.

Background And Purpose: Brainomix e-Stroke is an artificial intelligence-based decision support tool that aids the interpretation of CT imaging in the context of acute stroke. While e-Stroke has the potential to improve the speed and accuracy of diagnosis, real-world validation is essential. The aim of this study was to prospectively evaluate the performance of Brainomix e-Stroke in an unselected cohort of patients with suspected acute ischaemic stroke.

Robotic-assisted Laparoscopic Supracervical Repair of a Chronic Puerperal Uterine Inversion.

Surgical correction of a chronic puerperal uterine inversion traditionally requires an anterior or posterior cervical incision to relieve the constricting band. This case is only the second reported case of robotic-assisted correction of a chronic puerperal uterine inversion and the first to avoid a cervical incision. The patient was 5 months postpartum and desired future pregnancy.

Impact of 'two-week wait' referral pathway on the diagnosis, treatment and survival in upper and lower gastrointestinal cancers.

Background: The 'two-week wait'(2WW) referral pathway was introduced in the United Kingdom to reduce waiting times for treatment of cancer. There has been a debate regarding the efficacy of 2WW pathway since its implementation.

Methods: A singleinstitutional analysis of upper gastrointestinal(UGI) and lower gastrointestinal(LGI) malignancies treated between 1April 2015 and 31March 2017 was undertaken to analyse the impact of 2WWreferral pathway on the diagnosis, treatment and survival.
