Geotrichum species have been rarely reported as the cause of sepsis, disseminated infection in immunosuppressed patients. The patient we describe developed indolent endophthalmitis four months after her routine right eye cataract surgery. The intraoperative sample from right vitreous fluid grew Geotrichum candidum.

Purpose Of Review: The pathogenesis and treatment paradigm for idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH) is controversial. The goal of this article is to review the current literature addressing a relatively new and controversial therapeutic approach for a subset of IIH patients: dural venous sinus stenting.

Recent Findings: The debate continues as to whether transverse sinus stenosis is a primary or secondary process relative to raised intracranial pressure (ICP).
