Objective: To determine whether preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM) in the presence of a cerclage is associated with an increased incidence of intrauterine infection and/or adverse neonatal outcome compared to PPROM in the absence of cerclage.
Study Design: Patients diagnosed with PPROM with a cerclage (cases) between 24-34 weeks were matched (1:2.6) for gestational age at PPROM, gestational number, and chorionicity with patients diagnosed with PPROM without a cerclage (controls).

Background: Reports of cecal perforation complicating a Caesarean section postoperatively are very uncommon. Cecal perforations often are due to an antecedent bowel obstruction.
Case: A 39-year-old primigravid woman presented with obstructed labour at a cervical dilatation of 6 cm.
Objective: To determine the frequency of preterm deliveries and postpartum thrombotic events (TE) in pregnancies resulting in live birth in women with antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL) and a history of recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) but without prior TE.
Methods: We reviewed the pregnancy outcomes of women referred to our clinic with a history of RPL. Prepregnancy investigation of RPL included history of TE and aPL positivity (anticardiolipin IgG and lupus anticoagulant).

Objective: To establish the perinatal and neurodevelopmental outcomes of fetuses diagnosed with isolated ventriculomegaly (IVM).
Methods: A systematic review of cohort, case/control studies, case series and case reports of IVM (unilateral or bilateral enlargement of the lateral ventricle, >or=10 mm, with no additional diagnosis at the time of the initial ultrasound), identified by searching, without language restrictions, The Cochrane Library, MEDLINE and Embase databases in June 2004.
Results: No cohort study was retrieved but 577 cases were identified in one case/control study and 29 case series/case reports.
