This study evaluated between-session reliability of opto-electronic motion capture to measure trunk posture and three-dimensional ranges of motion (ROM). Nineteen healthy participants aged 24-74 years underwent spine curvature, pelvic tilt and trunk ROM measurements on two separate occasions. Rigid four-marker clusters were attached to the skin overlying seven spinous processes, plus single markers on pelvis landmarks.

- Results showed that a significant majority (86%) of patients experienced sleep disturbances, with over half (54.6%) reporting levels comparable to clinical depression.
- Factors such as age, time since injury, and aspects of health-related quality of life (bodily pain, vitality, and mental health) were found to be significantly linked to poorer sleep quality.
A variety of surgical approaches are available for the treatment of spine diseases. Complications can arise intraoperatively, in the immediate postoperative period, or in a delayed fashion. These complications may lead to severe or even permanent morbidity if left unrecognized and untreated [1-4].
