Article Synopsis
  • A young boy went to the doctor because he had a large, painless lump in his scrotum (the bag that holds the testicles).

  • This kind of lump can look like a more serious problem, so the doctors wanted to learn more about it and how to tell it apart from worse conditions.

Biopsy of the mass was suggestive of a solitary fibrous tumour. The patient underwent a robotic-assisted laparoscopic excision of the left pelvic mass.

Fine-wire EMG electrodes were inserted into two portions of adductor magnus of 12 healthy young adults.
