[Carcinoid tumours of the bile ducts].

Carcinoid tumors of the extrahepatic bile ducts are extremely rare and account for only 0.2-2% of all gastrointestinal endocrine neoplasms. They are particularly difficult to diagnose preoperatively and distinguish from cholangiocarcinoma.
