Azide-alkyne cycloaddition of cyclooct-2-yn-1-ol and 2-(azidophenyl)boronic acid proceeded rapidly at room temperature with complete regioselectivity to afford a triazole having a boronate ester group. The secondary interaction to form a boronate ion contributed to cycloaddition rate acceleration and the control of regioselectivity. The interaction to form an imine or hemiaminal was also evaluated.

Although IQGAP3 was established as a proliferating stomach stem cell factor and a regulator of the RAS-ERK pathway, how it drives cancer growth remains unclear.
Objective: We define the function of IQGAP3 in gastric cancer (GC) development and progression.
Background: While depression has been associated with alterations in the hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal (HPA) axis function, there is still controversy regarding the nature and extent of the dysfunction, such as in the debate about hypercortisolism vs. hypocortisolism. It may therefore be necessary to understand whether and how HPA axis function in depression is linked to mRNA expression of key genes regulating this system.

A cycloaddition reaction with various arynophiles was used to obtain chiral biaryl compounds while preserving the enantiomeric excess (ee) of a precursor even though the reaction proceeds through an arylaryne intermediate, whose ee decreases on a time-dependent basis. High chiral transfer from a precursor to a product was observed not only at low temperature (-78 °C) but also at room temperature.

We first identify the target genes through RNA-immunoprecipitation (RIP) sequencing. We then validate the identified targets through the use of RIP-qPCR assays, determine the mA status of target genes by mA-IP, and perform functional validation by quantifying changes in mRNA or protein expression levels upon knockdown of IGF2BP1 or methyltransferases in NTERA-2.
