Aims: Human papillomavirus (HPV) L1, L2 and E7 proteins were used as target antigens for development of preventive and therapeutic vaccines. Moreover, linkage of antigens to heat shock proteins (HSPs) could enhance the potency of vaccines. Curcumin and nanocurcumin compounds were suggested as the chemopreventive and chemotherapeutic agents against cancer.

In Silico Design and Immunological Studies of Two Novel Multiepitope DNA-Based Vaccine Candidates Against High-Risk Human Papillomaviruses.

Association analysis of DISC1 gene polymorphisms with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder in Iranian population.

Background & Objectives: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a common heritable psychiatric disorder with a worldwide prevalence of 5%. The etiology of ADHD is still incompletely understood, but several studies, consistently indicate the strong role of genetic factors on this disorder. The aim of this study was to determine the effect of three SNPs rs11122319, rs11122330 and rs6675281 in the etiology of ADHD in an Iranian children.

Detection of copy number changes in genes associated with Parkinson's disease in Iranian patients.

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disorder, after Alzheimer's disease. Genomic rearrangements are common mutations reported in PD patients. In this study, we investigated the prevalence of genomic rearrangements in a total of 232 Iranian PD patients, out of which 102 were sporadic early-onset (age-at-onset ≤ 45 years) and 51 had a family history.
