Bovine anaplasmosis is endemic and is of fundamental importance worldwide. Therefore, measures for controlling and preventing clinical diseases are warranted to ensure the reduction of associated economic losses. The objective of the present study was to assess the post-inoculation effects and protection conferred by three different protocols of inoculation of low-virulence live strains of Anaplasma marginale (UFMG1 and UFMG3) in field-challenged cattle.

Every year this disease affects a large part of the population of the state of São Paulo in Brazil, particularly due to the availability of favorable environmental conditions for the growth and development of the vector mosquito. This study aimed to verify the distribution of urban arboviruses in the municipalities of the state of São Paulo and the successful experiences of municipal governments to reduce cases, to highlight strategies that have successfully culminated, and which can serve as a basis for prevention strategies.

The control of such parasitosis represents an important challenge, given the constant high rate of reinfection of some hosts, among which the domestic dog, as well as the high environmental contamination. Another factor that can have a negative influence is the toxicity of the chemicals used for environmental decontamination, highlighting the need to design research to identify new control strategies for this parasitosis, among which the use of plant extracts.

Thirty resin blocks with simulated curved root canals were distributed into three groups (n = 10), and prepared using Reciproc (RCp), UnicOne (UnO) and the Protaper Universal (PTu). Standardized photographs were taken before and after the instrumentation, after which they were superimposed.
