Objective One of the most important problems in human reproduction is recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL). RPL is defined as three or more consecutive abortions in the first trimester of pregnancy. The association between the polymorphisms in the immunological factors and RPL was investigated.

Interleukin 1 receptor antagonist (IL-1RN) is an important anti-inflammatory molecule which plays important roles in pregnancy.
