Technology development and the general availability of information have affected modern society in such a way that the educational system requires immediate and decisive changes. The situation escalated during the pandemic when distance learning became an integral part of life of every teacher and student. Modern researchers call the educational system built on the flipped classroom model a pedagogical breakthrough, so it is important to study its impact from all sides; this explains the relevance of this paper.

Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) are eutectic mixtures of hydrogen bond acceptors and hydrogen bond donors which melt at much lower temperatures than the individual components. DESs are attracting growing interest because of a large variety of possible technological applications. Here, supercooled DESs consisting of choline chloride-urea (1 : 2) (reline) and of choline chloride-thiourea (1 : 2) (ChCl-thiourea), with introduced nitroxide spin probe tempone, were studied by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy.

Since 2018, regulation and control of genotoxic nitrosamine impurities levels have been a mandatory quality and safety characteristic for various drugs. The main issue of nitrosamine determination in drugs is a low sensitivity of the existing methods and a continuously extending list of controlled compounds. The reason is the low safe daily dose of these impurities and chromophores' absence within their structure.

Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) are proteins that possess large unstructured regions. Their importance is increasingly recognized in biology but their characterization remains a challenging task. We employed field swept Electron Spin Echoes in pulsed EPR to investigate low-temperature stochastic molecular librations in a spin-labeled IDP, casein (the main protein of milk).

We studied the effect of beta-casomorphin-7 on DNA synthesis in cell populations of newborn albino rats. Intraperitoneal administration of a beta-casein fragment heptapeptide beta-casomorphin-7 (1 mg/kg, 1 or 5 injections) activated proliferative processes in the myocardium and ectodermal and endodermal epithelium of newborn rats.

The comparative evaluation of the diagnostic value of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and the enzyme immunoassay (EIA) in the detection of intrauterine infection (IUI) in 48 newborn infants with cerebral lesions was made. Tests for the presence of the infective agents of IUI, most frequently occurring in the region (Cytomegalovirus, Herpes simplex virus, Chlamydia trachomatis), were carried out. The levels of serum IgA, IgG and IgM were evaluated in the course of the primary screening of IUI.

Hemostatic changed induced by ozone therapy were studied in 81 patients with atherosclerosis of different vessels in 81 patients. It was found that use of ozone-oxygen mixtures leads to hypocoagulatory changes (diminution of platelet aggregation, lowering of fibrinogen concentration, prolongation of activated partial thromboplastin time, enhanced fibrinolytic activity) which contribute to clinical response.

A complex of enzymatic tests, characterizing the liver function and cellular cytolysis in patients with acute myocardial infarction of various severities (without complications and with various types of complications and outcomes) was used in examinations over the first week of the disease. Significant changes in five of the seven tested enzymes were found: aspartate aminotransferase, glutamate dehydrogenase, sorbitol dehydrogenase, cholinesterase, alanine aminotransferase, the degree and incidence of changes in their activities being the lowest in the patients with acute myocardial infarction without complications, higher in those with this condition with isolated complications, still higher in those with combined complications and a favorable outcome, and the highest in those with combined complications and a lethal outcome. Secondary hepatopathy in patients with acute myocardial infarction augments as the complications develop, particularly in arrhythmia, disordered conductivity, and combined complications.

The activity of blood serum creatine kinase was studied in 37 cases with various degree of frostbites and in healthy individuals. The dynamic study of blood serum creatine kinase in frostbites cases during the first week allows for the differentiation between deep and superficial frostbites.

Serotonin in blood, in burnt skin and burn blister fluid was studied fluorimetrically in 90 patients during different periods of burn disease. Burn disease was found to be accompanied with a considerable reduction of serotonin level in patients' blood, its increased content in burnt skin and its appearance in the blisters fluid. There is a direct correlation between the burn gravity and the rate of serotonin level reduction in blood.
