Microtubule (MT) attachment to kinetochores is vitally important for cell division, but how these interactions are controlled by phosphorylation is not well known. We used quantitative approaches in vitro combined with molecular dynamics simulations to examine phosphoregulation of the NDC80 complex, a core kinetochore component. We show that the outputs from multiple phosphorylation events on the unstructured tail of its Hec1 subunit are additively integrated to elicit gradual tuning of NDC80-MT binding both in vitro and in silico.

State of the kallikrein-kinin system components (activity of kallikrein and total esterase activity of trypsin-like enzymes) was studied in synovial fluid at the acute period of the knee joint closed injury. The kallikrein activity as well as the esterase activity of trypsin-like enzymes correlated completely with clinical manifestations of the reactive arthritis. These enzymes appear to have a definite importance in development of inflammation in the joint.

Repeated osteosynthesis was performed in 202 patients with fractures, non-united fractures and false joints of the hip (20), tibial bone (112), shoulder (32), forearm (38). Recommendations are given for the fulfillment of reosteosynthesis in osteomyelitis, broken or deformed metallic wire, anatomical shortening. The extrafocal methods of reosteosynthesis are preferred.
